Its basic density range is stable and less affected by crystallinity, and the density varies slightly among different grades and modified types, as detailed below:

Neat Resin PPS: 1.34~1.36 g/cm³, typical value 1.35 g/cm³, the density standard for unmodified basic grades

Glass Fiber Reinforced PPS (10%~40% Glass Fiber): 1.45~1.65 g/cm³, the higher the glass fiber content, the more significant the density increase, while enhancing rigidity and dimensional stability

Mineral Filled PPS (Calcium Carbonate / Talc Filled): 1.40~1.55 g/cm³, density is positively correlated with filler loading, focusing on cost reduction and molding shrinkage improvement

Glass Fiber + Mineral Composite Reinforced PPS: 1.50~1.70 g/cm³, balancing the strength of glass fiber and dimensional stability of minerals, with density between single reinforcement systems

Flame Retardant PPS (Mainly Halogen-Free Systems): 1.35~1.45 g/cm³, halogen-free flame retardant addition has minimal impact on density, meeting environmental flame retardant requirements in the electronic and electrical industry
